I add comprehension questions throughout the video to make sure that students are paying attention and understanding the video. I really like that subtitles can be added to further support students as they are engaging with the video. Example: You must create an account.

2. Quizlet:
"Quizlet makes simple learning tools that let you study anything. Start learning today with flashcards, games and expert-written solutions." - Quizlet Website How It Is Used In My Class: Quizlet is a fantastic resource. I make a Quizlet study set for every Unit. Students love it because they can access it at any time to study the set. They have many activities to use, but flash cards is definitely a popular one, especially since they don't have to make them. I also love using Quizlet Live which creates friendly competition between the students as they engage in their learning. Every once in a while, I also assign as homework different study activities that Quizlet provides since I am able to keep track of who has completed which activities. |
3. Blooket:
"Blooket is an exciting new take on modern classroom review game. It aims to match action with education to create the ultimate learning experience!" - Blooket Website How It Is Used In My Class: This is one of the newest tools that I have incorporated into my classroom. Every since I introduced it for the first time, I haven't looked back. You can create questions for students to answer, and Blooket has many different game options for students to play using those questions. It is a great way to review, which is primarily how I have used it. However, it can also be used to reward students, or practice vocabulary that was recently introduced. It also easily integrates with Quizlet so that within seconds, Blooket creates questions for you using your study set from Quizlet. |
